Iphone Sync problems

Post by Smiler »

Hi, I have been using the Iphone application for a little while now. Today I purchased the PC version. I have tried to sync my dives from the iphone but I get the following.

Any ideas??

Hi

Please do the following to help me track down the problem:

- Open the iPhone Sync dialog in Diving Log on the desktop and enable sync on the iPhone
- Click the "Info" button at the bottom of the sync dialog on the desktop
- Click the "Backup" button and save the backup from the iPhone to the desktop
- Send me an email with your desktop logbook and the backup from the iPhone attached.

Thank you,
Sven

Sorry it was sat in my outbox for some reason. You should have it now. I have just upgraded my phone to the latest software and tried again but I get the same message.

Hi Sven

I even uninstalled diving log and reinstalled it today. It asked me to enter a number shown on my iPhone (and I dont recall that before) but it still gave the same message. Please help I don't want to enter all of my dives again.

Thanks Jerry

Hi, Sven

Right, here goes. I had a bit of a play today and deleted the mdb file. I tried running it again but it wouldn't open fully as it was telling me there was no mdb file. I opened File and created a new one. Then it loaded and it now syncs fine. So it appears to be fully working again.

Hi Jerry

Thank you, I'm glad it works with a new database. I will investigate the problem with the files you've sent me and try to find the root of the problem.

Kind regards,
Sven
