Try running the test application from my previous post, and send me the generated output files. The Mares Nemo Air should work just fine with the "puck" backend. For the Mares icon HD I have no idea which protocol is used. Probably also the puck protocol. You could just try the test application, or record a portmon log to confirm that first. Instructions for making a portmon recording are available here:

I can see no errors in the Nemo Air data between the .xml and the data downloaded from the Drak (Not Puck, but using the puck protocol) as viewed in DL5.0. Looks to me to be a successful test for the Nemo Air. And there were no erros during the download process.

An "I gotcha" for the Nemo Air with Drak interface is that you must make sure that the Computer does not time out after you set it to PC Link and that the light is RED! No Red Light no transfer!

The Puck, Nemo, ostc, edy, atom2, vtpro, smart, aladin, d9, vyper, vyper2 do not work with the Mares Icon HD so it looks like I may need some help with a new backend to try. Let me know how I can help!

You could learn to use the "EDIT" feature instead of posting a dozen small posts to the same thread in 10 minutes.

It was actually only 7 posts and over an hour period. Sorry if I offended you, but I was just trying to help! DH 8)

The Mares Nemo Air output looks good. Can you also send me the memory dump? It's more useful than the parsed output, because it allows me to retest when I make changes to the code.

For the Mares Icon HD, I need the full portmon logfile. From the snippet you posted, I can already conclude the protocol is different from that of the nemo and puck backend. But to decode a new protocol, I need to see some more data.

I would be happy to send you any info you want.
Here is the full portmon file from the Nemo Air as .zip.

I am limited to the size of the files I can upload so to the critics to the number of posts submitted.... I apologize!

Here is somehthing interesting that may help you. I had portmon running and my Icon HD connected via USB when I opened DiveOrganizer (Mares new computer log book and the downloader for the ICON HD) and I captured this handshake program. Here it is as well.
