Diving Log incorrectlys howing DECO dive - Aqualung i450

Post by Björn Van Brussel »

Hi team,

Just back from a week diving in Sharm :-)

I noticed that importing dives from an Aqualung i450T is not correctly displaying DECO info.

I have an alarm set that warns me when the N2 level reaches 3 on a scale of 4. However, for some reason, when that alarm got triggered, this is considered as a DECO dive afterwards in Diving Log and it also shows the NDL flipping from 33min to 0 in the blink of an eye. The PC however never indocated any DECO stop.

Some screenshots...

Can you have a look at it pls? Let me know if you need full dive data.

Thnx

Hi Björn

You're downloading the dive computer directly with Diving Log, right? First, please download the latest beta version (copy the content of this zip file into the Diving Log 6.0 program folder). Try to import the dives again to see if the problem still exists.

If the problem still happens, please activate the "Log Errors" and "Dump File" and send me the zip file:

Indeed, everything directly downloaded to diving log.

I’ll give it a try and will let you know.

I gave it a try and copied the files to the installation folder, but I get this in an error screen now when trying to download:

Hi Björn

Ah sorry, I was working on Bluetooth LE support and broke the normal downloader during that. Please download this file and copy the content into the Diving Log program folder again, then it should work.

Kind regards,
Sven

Thanks Sven.

Importing works now.

The issue is still there with the incorrect deco indication.

The dumpfile is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hl84w9f4m19kt ... r.zip?dl=0

I can already confirm that the libdivecomputer parser indeed detects a deco stop in your latest 2019-03-23 dive. I'll need to check against the data in the Aqualung Diverlog application to check whether this is correct or not.

I have found and fixed the bug in latest libdivecomputer. If you don't want to wait until the next Diving Log release, you can already download a build containing the fix into the Diving Log installation directory (backup the existing dll).
