iPhone incorrect dive count

Post by Jo »

I installed this yesterday, it's very nice.

In the stats page though, it says

1st dive number: 1
Last dive number:84
Dive count: 83

Which is one short. Am I missing something?

Jo

(It would be nice if when you tapped "Deepest dive" or "longest dive" on the stats page it would jump to that dive. )

Hi Jo

How many dives are in your desktop logbook? The dive numbering is independent from the actual dive count, so you can have 80 dives in your logbook but the last dive could have the number 100, for example. You can always sort and re-number the dives in the desktop version with "File > Logbook Maintenance > Sort Logbook".

Regarding your 2nd question: Greg has almost completed the next update which includes exactly that feature. :)

Best regards,
Sven

Ah, that must be it! ( :o Whoops, thanks for the quick response though!)
I'll check the desktop version and have a tidy-up! Loving the iPhone software, a great companion to Diving Log 4.
