New Windows Mobile Sync Betatest

Post by divinglog »

All Windows Mobile users can now download and try the new beta version of the upcoming Diving Log sychronization tool. Files created with this sync tool cannot be opened with the current Diving Log PPC version, they will not be recognized. The file format is used in the future Diving Log 5.0 for Windows Mobile. Please test the following:

- Does the transfer works in both directions?
- Does the progress bar move correctly?
- Does the new PPC file browser works correctly?

Please try these things and report any bugs (and report also if everything works so I know someone tried it). Please report also any problems with the device graphic. This graphic is provided by the manufacturer, so it may not be available for some devices and this works only on Vista or later. If no graphic is available or on Windows XP you'll see the standard graphic.

Download the SyncWMobile.zip file and extract it to any folder on your PC. Double click the "Sync.exe" to open the sync window. Don't extract the files into the Diving Log program folder if you also use the iPhone sync, because this will overwrite the iPhone sync.
