Google drive instead of dropbox

Post by Danny »

Hi Sven,

I would like to stop using dropbox, but I think that the sync on the divinglog android only works via dropbox. Is that right?

I would like to do it via Google Drive. Is that an option you can build in?

It still continues to find a great application!

Thanks in advance for your response.

Cheers,
Danny

Hi Danny

Currently only Dropbox is built into Diving Log for Android, but you can use other clouds in a bit more manual way as described here:

I try to add Google Drive in the future.

Kind regards,
Sven

Hi Danny

Sorry for the late response! There is a new "Share & Export" menu item, which allows you to export the logbook file to any cloud app:

In the next update there will be also an "Import" menu item, which allows you to pick the file from any cloud app. That way synchronizing with other clouds is much easier.

Hi Danny

If you want you can download here a beta APK to try the import feature: Divelog.apk

Let me know how it works for you.

Kind regards,
Sven
