Hi I got myself an Android Galaxy tablet on the weekend. I downloaded the Dive Log app.
Now I am having trouble with the syc to my PC.
I can see the Galaxy tab in my explorer, there is a folder called Divinglog.
I have done the backup to memmory card on the tablet
when I click on sync on PC it says, "no android device found"
I went to "click to select DiveLog folder"
but when I want to select the correct folder th "OK" button is grayed out.
hope you can assist

Re: Android Galaxy Tab
Hi
I think I might have figured it out:
the path is not on an SD card, the Galaxy tab needs a separate SD card reader that fits with an adaptor to the Tab.
Will give feedback once I have the adaptor.

Re: Android Galaxy Tab
Hi Wilhelm
The folder you've selected is the right one, but the connection mode is currently a problem. It has to be a standard USB mass storage mode (with a drive letter attached to the device). I'm looking at the moment for a solution for the next update, but right now you can select any folder on your hard drive and then copy the exported file manually using the Windows Explorer.

Re: Android Galaxy Tab
An option I used is dropbox. (Dropbox is a program that synchs files between computers (or smartphones/ tablets))
I export from dl 5.0 to a divelog directory. This one is shared between my main pc and my tablet and phone.
I wait a few seconds then the file is available on both my phone and tablet, then use the standard filemanger to copy the file to the divelog directory.
that way I dont even have to use a cable....
