The report designer is already included, to start it click in the print dialog of Diving Log on the button "Designer" or, to create a new empty report on the button "New Detailed" or "New List".
Thanks but that button was greyed out for me, have treid uninstalling the trial and re-installing but I get a message about " CE is not installed on thisPC" --Edit--OK I have gone in search of SQL thanks again..er still get same message so can you advise which services I need to start up or install please?
Can you describe the problem a little bit further, when do you get the message exactly? Can you send me a screenshot? Make sure that you have some dives entered in you logbook, otherwise the button is greyed out because the designer needs some dive data to display during the design time.
