Overflow Error with Decimal GPS/WGS Coordinates

Post by Stefano »

Hi Sven,

I just would like to let you know that DL 4.0.8 does crash - after the overflow warning dialog, if one tries to input the Latitude & Longitude coordinates in a decimal format, e.g. 49.7313936938 and 8.4166431427 respectively.

It would be a nice 8) addition on top of handling possible overflows, if DL would convert decimal inputs into the respective GPS/WGS format. See http://www.calculatorcat.com/latitude_longitude.phtml as an example.

Keep up the excellent work!

Cheers

Hi Sven,

it would be nice also to be able to import GPS data directly from the PDA/GPS through the com port...just a though...;-)
