Certifications

Post by sublub »

Hoi Sven,

Is it possible to make the certifications list in the user info the same as the lists you use for buddy's or dive location. And also that you can sort it by organisation?

Suggestion for version 5.0 :D

Hi Michael

You mean in an extra window and not in the personal information window? OK, I'll think about it.

Hoi Sven,

Not neccecery in a new window. That is fine by me. I just mean the lay-out of the certification window.

The problem is that on the left side of the personal data window already a list box exist, so where should I add the list for the certifications?

Hmm I see your point. Maybe it is an option to put it as een extra topic under the Details button?

I was little bit amazed by absence of IANTD in "Organization" list, any reason?

G'day Sven,

Any chance of getting
SDI - Scuba Diving International
TDI - Technical Diving International
added to the list of certification organisations. I have certifications with these two organisations, but can't add them properly.

Others you might want to consider adding are:
ACUC - Association of Canadian Underwater Councils
BSAC - British Sub Aqua Club
CDAA - Cave Divers Association of Australia
GUE - Global Underwater Explorers
IANTD - International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers
NAUI - National Association of Underwater Instructors
YMCA SCUBA - Young Mens Christian Association

Best Regards, Lloyd Borrett.

No problem, I can add these. But - in the dropdown box you can also enter whatever you want. You don't need to choose any of the preadded values. So simply enter "IANTD" into the field and click on save
