Import doesn't fill Diving locations, places, countries, etc

When I import my dives from SmartTRAK software all dive places, countries, etc. are filled in but when I check this data from within divinglog nothing is there.
Same for buddies, they are imported from smarttrak but not in buddies in divinglog.

Shoud I also manually fill these in once or is is possible to import these settings one way or another?

Hi Arno

At the moment there is unfortunately no import option for the detailed informations, only the dive data will be imported. But I have planned to support this in future.

I would also like this feature to be improved. I spent a lot of time entering a LOT of information into SmartTrak, but the printing function is very bad. I'd consider moving to Diving Log which has great logbook prints, but I am worried about having to entire all info twice... once in SmartTrak, and then fixing and re-entering all the same info into Diving Log, just for prints.

Any estimate on when this additional information will be imported? Are we talking about a near-future point release (like 4.0.7 or 4.0.

or a 5.x release or later?

All data that can be stored in the current Diving Log database will be imported in one of the next updates ( 4.0.7 or 4.0.8 ). In the next major update (version 5.0) I'm planning also a big database update so that there are maybe more possible fields to import.
