Place Table Details

G'day Sven,

I notice that the place table, has a field for Rating. But I can't determine what this field is for, and how it is edited.

I also notice that the place table has no field for CityID.

I'm trying to write something to list my dive locations. But given a Place ID, I can only get the country and not the city.

Is there a way around this?

These fields are for future features in Diving Log and have at the moment no user interface function.

G'day Sven,

I found out how to get the City / Island associated with a Place / Location.

You have to search for the Place in the Logbook table, and get its City / Island from there.

But it would be much easier if in future versions, the Place table had a field for the CityID.
