Extract the zipfile into the Diving Log program folder.

2nd is fixed
3rd depends on the MySQL import. When I open the file with the browse button the degree symbol (°) will be imported as (?). When I open the dump file and copy/paste the text into the SQL interpreter the lat / lon values are correct. This is because Visual Basic isn't able to save the text file in UTF8 format, I try to find a workaround for this. The semikolon (') is now also exported correct.

G'day Sven,
My suggestion for handling the lat and long, would be to export them in the form of xxx.xxxxxxxx degrees.
Then the problem of having to handle the:
° (& # 176)- degree;
′ (& # 8242)- prime = minutes = feet; and
″ (& # 8243)- double prime = seconds = inches
symbols simply goes away.
If we want to display the values in degrees, minutes, seconds format, then we can do the required conversion when we display them from the database.
I guess your problem is that you then need Diving Log to be able to import the values in that format as well.
Best Regards, Lloyd Borrett.
