Water Temperature

Post by marco.duarte »

Hi !!
I'm wonder if it's possible to include a field with the Water Temperature Average.
Right now the Water Temperature field is the minimal temperature you experience during the whole dive.
That's not good because sometimes your dive is around 25 degrees but in the middle of the diving, you get a cold current around 19 degrees, and what is logged is the water at 19 degrees all time, which gives you an erroneous idea that the water was cold for that dive.

Hi

The average water temperature is calculated by Diving Log and displayed above the main profile, if you switch the main profile to temperate profile (right click into it). You usually don't know the average temperature yourself, so it makes not much sense to offer a textfield for that. It can be easily calculated by Diving Log.

Kind regards,
Sven

Indeed, once the information is already there, it makes no sense to create a new field for that.
I haven't noticed this option at the profile screen.

Thanks for the tip
