petrel 2 DL how it works?

Good morning
I saw that now we can select petrel2 in the list of computers from the downloader list, but only COM1 is available and Petrel 2 is using Bluetooth. If I tick the box "show only Bluetooth port" nothing appears in he Port list. I'm under windows 10, I have the shearwater desktop software installed with all drivers. I 'm still obliged to DL to shearwater desktop then transfer to diving log, waste of time... Could some one help?

I think you have to create a virtual COM port, but it would be good if a Petrel 2 user can confirm that. This thread might still apply to the Petrel 2 to get it working.
