Merging Files

Post by Jay001 »

Hello

I'm relatively new to the forum so please be patient, and if the question has been asked before, I do apologise and you can point me towards the thread.

I have two mdb file's from backups my question is.
Can I merge two files together. i.e the dates are consecutive but I would like them all in one log? I've recently had to reinstall DiveLog so this would be good.

many thanks in advance

Jay

Hi Jay

Yes, you can easily merge logbook files with the "Diving Log" import function (File > Import > Diving Log). Afterwards you can sort your dives (File > Maintenance > Sort Logbook).

Kind regards,
Sven

Thank for your this guidance.
Is this also possible with SQL? I have two log books on my phone (Android) but can't merge them there.
On PC I don't seem to be able to import an SQL file (but can export SQL).

Amy help would be appreciated in merging these.

The same import function "Diving Log" can read also *.sql files from Diving Log (Android or iOS)

Thank you - that's very obvious, I'm not sure how I missed it. :D

I appreciate your support - have just upgraded my desktop subscription (to go with my android subscription).

cheers.
