Logbook Layout files

I tried to use some of the supplied xml Layout files, but once I click Apply template get an error message and nothing changes from the original layout. Any suggestion how you have to apply the new layout to an existing logbook? Thank you

Don't mix up templates and layouts, both are xml files but different things. You have to load layout files in the layout tab of the logbook toolbar with the "Open" button.
