I installed V5 on a new computer and downloaded new dives to it. I want to add my old dives from V4 that are on my old laptop. V4 will not load on my old laptop. I get run time error339 vbalml6.ocx not registered....
Can I copy the data file and import? If so, where do I find the data file for V4?

If you have just your V4 logbook file and want to use it, you can open it directly with V5 if you have used version 4.0.13 before. If you had and older version, you have to send me the file and I'll do the conversion for you.
If you have already a V5 logbook file with dives and just want to import your old dives from V4, you can import them using the "Diving Log" import function.
The logbook file is stored by default in your Windows Documents folder, sub folder Diving Log and is called Logbook.mdb. But this can be changed by yourself, so if you changed the location and name, it will differ.
