Hi
Since I run Windows 7 I'd been using smartrack and diving log without any problems. I recentrly upgraded to Windows 8.1 on a new machine and I'm not able to download data from my aladin. I installed the original uwatec irda using both Windows 8 and Windows 7 driver, the machine recognise the irda adapter but I cannot see my aladin 2g.
In smartrack I have the message "no computer found"
in divinglog, using smart downloader I get the error message "DC_STATUS_NOMEMORY"...
any hints please help!

I can only guess, but I think the irda dongle might not be compatible with Windows 8 or the drivers are not working properly. If you switched from 32 bit to 64 bit, it might be also the reason for the driver problem.

I had this problem on my Acer Windows 8 Tablet. Fortunately I was able to undo the Windows 8.1 update and revert to Windows 8. Everything worked fine again regarding my Uwatec SmartTrak software and the infra red dongle.
