Dive Rite NiTek Q (Full Trimix)
I'm completely new to Diving Log and downloaded it because apparently it works with the NiTek Q (see attached photo). It's pretty widely known that the Workbench software isn't that great, and in my case I can't even get my dive computer to link up to the software. I'm hoping it will be a different story with Diving Log.
So how do I go about linking it up?
I noticed that in the Import menu there is no listing for the NiTek Q - there is only "NiTek Logic."
Is "NiTek Logic" the item used for the NiTek Q?
I see nothing else in the menu related to Dive Rite or NiTek.

Hi Mike
Please download this additional update and extract it into the Diving Log program folder. Then you'll find a "Workbench" import at the end of the list. The import is quite new, so please let me know if you find any problems or missing data. Unfortunately you still have to use Workbench for downloading.
Kind regards,
Sven

Re: Dive Rite NiTek Q (Full Trimix)
I have some good news for you. I'm currently working on adding support for the Nitek Q to the libdivecomputer project. So in the near future divinglog will support direct download from the Nitek Q.
It's not completely ready yet, but I'm making progress. Downloading data from the dive computer already works fine. But to get the parsing working too, I need data from multiple devices. That's where you (and anyone else with a Nitek Q) can help, by providing the data from your dive computer. To do this, you need to download the nitekq test application and then run it with these options:
Of course, replace <serialport> with the correct serial port. Afterwards, send me the two nitekq.log and nitekq.bin files by email.

Thank you for the test application, Jef! I've pointed 2 other Nitek Q users to this thread.

Re: Dive Rite NiTek Q (Full Trimix)
Whats the current status of this?
Re: Dive Rite NiTek Q (Full Trimix)
The Nitek Q is supported in libdivecomputer now. It should be available from Diving Log with the next update. In the meantime, you can already download the latest dll from the libdivecomputer website, drop it into the Diving Log installation directory (keep a backup of the old dll, just in case), and then the Nitek Q should appear in the list of the universal downloader.
Note that there may still be some small bugs here and there. Just report any problems you encounter, and we'll try fix them as soon as possible. Also, you may still send me the data from your Nitek Q. The more real data I have for testing, the better.

Re: Dive Rite NiTek Q (Full Trimix)
Does the windows or iphone application lets u connect the computer directly to your phone? ? Like connect my NitekQ to my iphone and do the download there?
Re: Dive Rite NiTek Q (Full Trimix)
No, the iPhone cannot download dive computers right now. With Diving Log on Windows and with the latest libdivecomputer Jef linked it should work.
