SAC field

Post by Mouse51180 »

What fields need to be filled out and in what format so the SAC [ft3/min]: field calculates?

I have all the fields filled out, but it is showing 0 as my SAC. Im guessing my issue is the dive time format...

for 65min...what is the format... 0:65, 1:05, 65 min, etc...?

I believe the dive needs a profile (to calculate average depth). SAC rates are based on the amount of air consumed at what average depth over what length of time.

You *may* be able to enter an average depth, but I'm not sure if the SAC will then be calculated, but unless your dive computer is giving you the average depth, your value may not be accurate.

Hi

The SAC rate calculation is explained here: https://www.divinglog.de/blog/?p=765

If there is no profile, you have to enter the average depth manually to get the SAC. Regarding dive time: 65 is the correct formatting (just minutes).
