Galileo SOL

Post by DutchGeek »

Hi there,

I just got a new computer, the SOL. I wanted to know if I have to use the smartrak software in order to import my dives into diving log.

Any tips or suggestions to make the switch from my Suunto to Uwatec any easier? I am assuming that I will not be able to see the heart rate data in Diving log, so I will need to have both sitll anyway.

Thanks in advance!

Hi

Yes, you can download the Galileo Sol directly with Diving Log with the Uwatec Smart Download function or import from SmartTrak. The heart rate (and other profile data) can be also displayed in the secondary profile area in the logbook window (right click > heart rate).

Kind regards,
Sven

Sven,

Thanks for the heartrate info, found it and it works awesome.

I will try the smart downloader after I complete my next dive. So far I like the import from the uwatec better then the suunto.

Does it import the altimeter info and the compass points as well?
