Uemis Website scheint offline zu sein

Post by widmaier »

http://www.uemis.com

500 - Internal Server Error

Bringt mich wieder zu der Frage, bis wann vielleicht die direkte Syncronisation gehen könnte:-((

Yes, the uemis site is still down after 3 days, not looking good. Hopefully the divelog integration will happen real soon :)

That's not looking good, indeed. Last Fall there was some good progress for direct sync and there are some commandline based tools, but nothing yet I can use directly in Diving Log. So there are some separate pieces that need to be stitched together, but unfortunately I can't do that myself

As i love my Uemis, i'm really waiting for this integration into Divelog.
I'm not a programmer, but if i can help in any way (funding, beta testing...) i will.

yes, it does appear to be back online as an archive, however syncing is not working at present. Is there a way to enter dives manually, then do a merge when syncing is restored or you achieve the 2 way integration with Diving Log?
Thanks, AJ

I'm in contact with another developer, who has a complete offline sync solution. We are currently working on the data exchange to Diving Log.

That's really good news. I'll be happy to make another donation to the people involved.

I've just got a message from the developer. The closed beta has ended and a public final release should be available end of March.

I've tried contacting the developer several times and never got a response  I have not heard any news and at the moment I don't know more than everyone else, sorry. There are several people waiting for the offline downloader, but some users on Scubaboard were lucky to get a beta version, so I think the tool is real and working. I don't know why it's not getting released for the public.

Good news, I talked with the new Uemis owners and the web sync should be working now again. Then you can download your dives back to Diving Log.
