Hi
I hope you can help me on this. Just bin on a diving trip, and used my Suunto D4. I transferred dives every day to Diving Log, but suddently after 3 days it couldn't be done anymore, the download function continued to 100%, stayed there for a long time, and then returned an error message and closed down without any downloads. I tried downloading to the Suunto software instead (Suunto DM4) without any problems, profile etc. was logged, but this software in its simplicity is of little use, so I would rather continue with Diving Log, which I enjoy a lot. I enclose the beginning and end of the log-file from Diving Log below, that might explain the reason, thanks in advance.

Suunto download dives fails
Re: Suunto download dives fails
Hi Leif
You can try to use the Universal Downloader in Diving Log.
Kind regards,
Sven

Re: Suunto download dives fails
Hi, Sven!
I have the same error. Wrote about it in neigbour tread. Yes, newest version of Universal downloader (UD) load profiles perfectly, but Suunto downloader in use is little bit better - after use UD don't calculate time between dives, don't set up Air temperature and can't to know is dive repeat or no - each time parameter "repeat dive" set up for "no". For these reasons I (maybe I forgot some troubles) prefer use Suunto downloader instead UD.

Re: Suunto download dives fails
Then you have to contact James Connell, the developer of the Suunto Downloader. I cannot do much in that case, unfortunately.

Re: Suunto download dives fails
Hi
I tried using the universal downloader, but it doesn't work at all. After selecting the correct COM-port and model, and after connecting the Suunto D4 in Data transfer mode, when selecting to start download it immediatly gives me the message "Transfer interupted!", without having the slightest progress on the bar.
Is it possible to locate the error and correct it? I would be really sorry to have to abandon Diving Log, as it contains all my logged dives at the moment - not the last 4 ones due to the error, though.
Regards Leif
