Diving Log preferences

Post by lloyd_borrett »

G'day Sven,

While using Diving Log 5.0.4 I've come up with some settings you might like to add to Preferences and support within the program in a future version.

Ability to set the number of days for equipment service reminders.

Ability to set a default value for O2%, e.g. 21.

Ability to set a default value for MaxPPO2, e.g. 1.4 bar.

Ability to set how GPS coordinates will be displayed, e.g. d.d, dm.m, dms.s.

Ability to set and display what the datum for co-ordinates is, e.g. WGS84.

Ability to set which of the available logbook layouts should be used as the default.

Ability to set the default appearance for the charts and values on the Profile tab of the logbook.

Ability to export the preferences in a table so that phpDivingLog can use them.

Best Regards, Lloyd Borrett.

Hi Lloyd

Thank you for your comments. I'll try to add these things in future versions.

If you don't enter any O2 value Diving Log assumes you've used air.

You can do that already by clicking down arrow beside the coordinates. Then you have several options.

Diving Log remembers the current layout and uses it the next time you open the logbook. Or do you mean something else?

Kind regards,
Sven
