I am considering purchase of a Swiss computer from a company called Uemis. They only offer upload to their web based log, which can be inconvenient when diving away from Internet access for some time. Ability to download dives from Uemis computer would bring a buch of users to Diving Log as there are no other options open for them at the moment.

I would really like to support the Uemis Zurich and I'm already in contact with the manufacturer. But I won't be able to transfer the dives directly from the device. Uemis promised to include some kind of import/export in their web portal and as soon as they did this, I'm going to add an interface to them.
I recommend you contact Uemis and let them know that you really want such a feature, so they hopefully set the priority a little bit higher. A lot of Uemis users are waiting for such a connection to Diving Log and I'm waiting, too.
