Merging Two Log Entries in to One

Post by alexher78 »

Sometimes when I go Cave Diving I stay in a bubble a bit longer and when I go down again, my dive Computer Starts a new dive. Is there any possibility to merge de two dives together so it is still one dive and automatically takes in to account the new Avg depth by merging the profiles when I import from Diving computer software?

Thanks and best regards,

Alex

Hi Alex

You can do that in the "Profile" ribbon tab in the logbook window.

Kind regards,

I tried to do this and don't any difference that would indicate a merged dive...any hints on what I should see or what I might be doing wrong?

The dive profile of the 2nd dive will be added to the end of the profile of the first dive. So you see the merging best in the profile view.

Is there no way to permanently combine two (or more) dives? I remembered that being possible previously (or maybe I just dreamed that feature!)

Thanks

Yes, it's the feature described here in this post. Just delete the 2nd dive after merging.
