Here comes the first version of the "Swedish logbook". Now with:
English, Swedish, German and Danish
Do you want another language support, fill in the translation in this post: viewtopic.php?t=672

Some of the informations in the report are not "supported" by the program, to fill them out use User-Defined fields:
- Choose Logbook
- Third tab Additional
- Second icon "User-Defined fields"
- Rename the fields you want to use, it doesn't matter which field 1-10 you use. You could include more text in the field, but you need to include strong words.

Field name = description
Dive = Which dive in order you did today.
Rate (1-6) = Rate of the dive
Thickness (mm) = Thickness of the divesuit or underwear
GPS = kordinates of the dive. eg. E120°12.212' N158°15.167'
Bottom = type of bottom. eg. Koral, mud
Signature = Certifikat number "two spaces" Certifing organisation (PADI, GUE, NAUI, CMAS, VDST, IANTD, TDI, SSI) "two spaces" signatur type (divemaster, buddy, instructor)
eg. #123456789 PADI divemaster
Group_Before = The dive group before the dive, for those who use divetables, one letter
Group_After = The dive group after the dive, for those who use divetables, one letter

I will upload a new version as soon I made some beauty-bugfix. :P
/Erik

okay.. many thanks..

but there is an other problem with the userdefined fields.
Can you change the fieldnames..
the mysql upload of the userdefined fails because fieldname with spaces are not allowed.

regards.

Hi Erik

Thank you for your great work! Should I upload the zipfile also to the report download website?

blue rectangles instead of circles

Post by athelas »

Hi,
maybe I am missing a font or something has been changes, but instead of blue circles and blue squares in the dive type I am getting only blue rectangles of a missing character.

I am using Windows 7 RC1 and the latest version of DiveLog.

Thanks for a hint.

(Font Weddings is present on the system)

OK - so the problem has been identified and it points to the fact that Diving Log is not an unicode-aware application and with my locale settings set to Slovakia it just does not work very well. When I change the locale settings to English, it works correctly, however this is just the thing I cannot do because of my other programs so it means I cannot use this workaround.
