Downloader für Galileo Sol

Post by bernistahl »

Hallo,
ERROR: Failed to connect the device. [in uwatec_smart.c:195 (uwatec_smart_device_open)]
libdivecomputer version: 0.4.1-devel

The fact that also smarttrak has trouble (and likely fails due to the same reason), indicates that the problem is not at the application level. Maybe faulty hardware, or a problem with the driver? Try uninstalling the driver, rebooting and then installing again. Or try the dongle on a different PC. To rule out problems with the hardware, I don't have any suggestion other than trying with another IrDA dongle. Maybe you can borrow one from a buddy?

Hallo Berni

Sven

Hi, thanks for your Response.
the Thing with virtual pc is awesome, but wasn't successful :( .
In switzerland I couldn't find a hama stick. It Looks like they run out of infrared stick or they don't produce them anymore.
Nor Firewall, nor antivirus is the Problem. I simply have no idea what's going wrong.
The last Thing I'm going to try is with Windows 8 and afterwards the original dongle will be bought. hopefully then with success.

Hab mir diesen Stick gekauft:
http://www.amazon.de/dp/B000V988HW/ref= ... _M3T1_dp_1
