I'm having the same problem. I imported using the menu at the left of the screen, is that using .NET or the older method?

Has there been any resolution to his issue? I am also not getting the water temperature imported to my log, and I have verified the data is in the XML file.

On the dive time, I agree that it under reports the dive time by some number of seconds and will likely add up to an hour about every 120 dives but I don't see this as a problem. First, the difference is trivial in the big scheme of things. Second, expressing dive time in whole minutes is how dives ...

Why not just publish and document the field names and let it be up to the user to use those names? Then you need no import designer or field assignment. The first line would be the field headers which could be in any order but must be correct (with all required headers present) or the import fails.

Go to the Additional tab of a dive. There are drop down lists for Current and Waves.

Adding Photos

I guess I'm looking for strategy tips and suggestions on how to organize my photos. I understand changes are coming to improve path handling but I cannot wait any longer. So I'd like to hear from others how you are handling photos. I'm not really concerned with brevets or equipment, I have that figu...

May I be so bold as to suggest an open source db format, rather than MS SQL or Access, should you choose to go that route? That would enable other platforms an easier time, should you ever consider porting the app, and everything would be much better documented as well. I could be happy with that, ...

You could also use the report designer to calculate Time Out in a log report, using the Time In and Dive Time.

I could have swore you said it would be done but all I can find are statements about certain features you intend for the next *major* release, which I guess would version 5. I'm kinda surprised that it sounds pretty far down the priority list. I've seen at least three threads where people want path ...

I couldn't see anything different in the new release concerning search paths, i.e. for photos. I thought you said you were planning on working that in. Did you not get to it or am I missing it?

I don't know about named drives but I know several of us have requested relative paths and search paths for filenames, and that Sven has said this will be implemented in the next major version release.

It's OK, Sven. Opened up the file in MS Access and made a backup and now everything works like a charm. :) Thank you. And THAT, folks, is a classic example of why it is so important that DL stick with a simple database engine like Access that allows you independent access to your data rather than s...
