Looking for testers for Diving Log Facebook Profile Uploader

I'm looking for some testers to play around with my Diving Log Facebook Profile Uploader application. I am also looking for people who are interested in translating the UI. I will send you a list of strings to translate if you are interested. In the meantime, the application page is here: https://ww...

Sven, that would be a huge improvement, very cool. Thanks!

Feature Request: Post profile image + location to Facebook..

Sven, Loving the new 5.0+ version, so much new functionality. I'd like to add a feature request to your list...the ability to post a dive to Facebook. I use a couple of fitness apps (GPS) on my iPhone and after recording a route or other workout, it can post to Facebook an image of the route, some b...

Re: Tech diving, double tanks and SAC

Not to hijack this post, but I have something that's similar (feature request), the ability to set a category of dive for SAC calculations. I think this is vital for a diver like myself who wants to use this information for base gas consumption when planning technical dives when I do several differe...

Re: Beta version 5.0

Sven, one other issue I have found (by accident)...if you make no other choices except select/deselect equipment, there is no notification that there was a change when you click on another dive in the log book viewer.

Re: Temperature Profile Graph

Sven, the logfile that I sent you before should include such dives. Does the log I sent you have dive 330? That is one. If not, then it should have dive 281, that is another.

Temperature Profile Graph

Sven,

I noticed something strange about the temperature profile graph. If the temps are there but don't change through-out the dive, then the graph shows up as 'no data'. Unless the values are all zero, should it not still show a flat line graph?

Re: Need testers for dive computer downloader

Strange, the log check box is disabled?!? It should default to enabled. I wonder if it's a rendering problem... I wonder if there was an issue in caching the download. I have rebuilt the application (with an updated version number). Please try downloading the new copy from the server and running tha...

Re: Need testers for dive computer downloader

Haarald,

Can you try the failed 'FindSerialPort' and save the log for that with your DIY cable, I'd like to see what the VID and PID values are for that cable...

Thanks.

Re: Need testers for dive computer downloader

The port finder code uses WMI to locate the FDTI device, then the serial port from that device. Seems the VID and PID are different for your DIY cable. The downloader code is separate and works independently. I've updated the application here: http://www.divecomputerlib.com/downloads/ComputerDumper....

Re: Need testers for dive computer downloader

If it's a Cobra 1/2 it should download using the Vyper code as TnT pointed out. You could also try this: http://www.divecomputerlib.com/downloads/ComputerDumper.zip It runs on Windows with .NET 3.5 installed and records a log as well as taking a memory snapshot. I'm interested in particular if the p...

Sent you an email (several actually). Seems the checksum routine is different (sum of nybbles instead of sum of bytes).

Re: Need testers for dive computer downloader

Updated. New update will record a log for me even on failure. Also, any time there is an abort, I fire a single 'exit computer mode' command at the interface in hopes to not leave the computer in unhappy state. I know that if you hook it up to ACI and read the settings, the computer defaults back to...
