G'day Sven,
Do you have plans to extend Diving Log to support logging the sea critters we see during a dive?
Some way to group them, indicate quality, size etc. per dive would be great.
Best Regards, Lloyd Borrett.

Import Buddy Details From Outlook
G'day Sven,
Any chance we could import the buddy details from Outlook, or similar programs?
Also be able to store the certification level, plus certification number and organisation for dive buddies.
Best Regards, Lloyd Borrett.

Dive School / Shop / Charter Details
G'day Sven, It would be nice to keep the details of Dive Schools and Instructors within Diving Log and associate them with dives where appropriate. Similarly, details of Dive Charter operators and Dive Shops. You'd need to allow for the overlap between them. Business name, address, contact name, cit...

Google Earth Position Capture
G'day Sven,
Another new feature you could consider would be to make it possible for us to locate a dive location in Google Earth, or similar, and have Diving Log capture the coordinates for the dive location values.
Best Regards, Lloyd Borrett.

Logbook Information
G'day Sven, Were you to move some of the details on the "Logbook" view to a "Conditions" tab, you'd have some room on that page for some other things. I'd like to be able to see "Bottom Time Before Dive", together with "Dive Time" and "Bottom Time After D...

Conditions Features
G'day Sven, I hope you don't mind me providing you with my thoughts about Diving log? Please don't get me wrong, I think it's a great program. One thing I like to do is record the visability for a dive in metres. Being able to specify the visibility this way, maybe even both vertically and horizonta...

Air Usage Feature
G'day Sven, An idea for an enhancement would be some form of air usage per dive minute indication. Perhaps as a calculated value for each dive. Statistics should show the average air usage, average usage per dive, most effective dive and least effective dive for air use. Maybe even a chart option. B...

MySQL Dump Export
G'day Sven,
Just a heads up to a possible problem.
The first time I tried to do a MySQL Dump Export, no dialog box came up and Diving Log simply exited.
On restarting Diving Log and trying again, it worked just fine.
Best Regards, Lloyd Borrett.

G'day Sven, One thing I can see looming as a problem with putting the dive logs online. It seems Diving Logs stores the file pathname to any pictures. Thus if I want to use the pictures online, I need to convert those file pathnames into full or relative URLs. Any chance that Diving Log could let me...

Dive Equipment Features
G'day Sven, Diving Log lets me create a comprehensive list of my Dive Equipment. But I don't seem to be able to do anything will it. I'd like to be able to associate particular items from my list of diving equipment to each dive. The purpose of "Service Date" is unclear to me. Ideally I'd ...

Any chance of adding an "Air" icon on the Additional Details Page as one of the "Gas Mixture Details" options.

I did sync the data from Diving Log on my PC to Diving Log on my Pocket PC. But then the next time I took the Pocket PC out of its cradle and put it back in, ActiveSync came up with the unresolved file thing. Which is why I'm assuming that's the file. Unfortunately ActiveSync doesn't tell me which f...

G'day Sven, Yes, just a soft reset. I managed to import the dive logs from my partners Uwatec software into Diving Log on my PC, delete out the ones I wasn't beddied with her, and then add the additional dives. Then transfer the data to my Pocket PC. But now Microsoft ActiveSync v4.1.0 (Buld 4841) k...
