There is a good chance the interface is the problem. I don't want to blame it as a 'quick way out', but the inconsistency of the download failure makes it more unlikely that it's my program. My program restores the Comport to it's original settings on exit, so it should have no effect on the driver....

I made a small change to the downloader. The problem seams to be when the profile buffer wraps around. This takes more time than most reads do.

The tissue load can be calculated based on the samples in the profile, But it likely would not match the graph made by the manufacturers software. Would that really matter? I myself would like to see a graph based on a known alogarithm with a known confidence factor. The other thing it would do is m...

Hi,
What version of the downloader are you using? There was a bug in a recent release that caused that problem.
Go here: http://liquidimagephoto.com/SuuntoTools ... loader.zip
This is the latest version and has that bug fixed.

Vyper. Hmm... interesting... I thought the latest divinglog should bring latest DLLs... No, the release of the downloader is controlled by me. I'm sure Sven included the newest version he had, but Both DL and the downloader are in a state of upgrade, the new version is under development and only te...

Re: Import bug
Indeed. And look at the line that shows the downloader version # to be 2.9.5.12kreuzerkrieg wrote:look at the last line of import screen
That is long surpassed by the release candidate 2.9.7.4
I recommend you get that version.
Also What type of computer are you downloading from?

Cobra2 / Vyper 2 Support Restored!
Well, it works great with the only test copy I have. Get V 2.9.7 build 3 from my site - this is the release candidate. Only thing still to test is a 'bent' D model - I can do that with the Cobra2 I have here. As soon as I get over this head cold :( at least. Other fixes include a fixed bug in the pr...

Do you mean the tank pressure in the profile or the start / end pressure values? The older model Suuntos that offer pressure information (Cobra and Vytec) do not save pressure samples in the profile. They only save the Initial pressure from the start of the dive and the Residual pressure at the end...

OK, I implemented the change to write the debug file to the program directory. New version on the site. Would a few D users give it a try? I have a changed 'read' routine that should be better. Unfortunately, I can't do any testing at the moment. The shop I get my test units from is sold out till af...

I considered that, Sven, but I don't want to get too tricky with the file, divinglog wrote:James, I suggest you write the logfile into the folder of the SuuntoXML.exe file, this should work on Vista (even in C:\Program Files)
and I really don't want to have to track down the correct folder for each installation.

Not really - I've never used Vista. And if all goes well I never will. That is one overblown POS from Micro$haft. It would be better if you could spec a different Opsys when you buy a new box. I need that file to help deduce the trouble. Do you know any one with XP that you could test on? I don't ev...
