Worked it out.
The files were in the default administrator documents folder.

Moving them to my user documents folder fixed the issue.

If I select a layout nothing changes currently.
In the demo the view of the layout changed immediately when I selected a new layout.
The version I'm running is exactly the same. I just entered my registration details and imported my suunto SDM file.
