Re: VMWare Fusion Problems
Hi Sven, That update worked from the zip file. It was the full installation that failed when it was trying to write the templates folder as there was an apparent problem with the VM seeing the folder location or having the correct permissions. Weird as there is only a single account which is the adm...

Hi, I'm trying to update the software to the latest version under Vmware Fusion 5 on a MacBook Pro and it keeps telling me that it cannot access the vmware-hosts directory and i don't have appropriate permissions. I've run the full range of tests recommended on the Vmware forums including removing a...

Re: Download Errors Through Fusion
Tnt, I cannot get the error logging to work. I think it is failing before the logging begins. I tried increasing the memory allocated to the VM with no change.
I'm in contact with Greg as suggested by Sven and he is talking me through a few options.
Cheers

Equipment Filters
Hi, Is there any way to filter the dives by a particular piece of equipment? My HID light battery has just died and i intend to show how few dives I have completed with this light in order to push for a warranty replacement. It would be excellent if I could just filter on the particular piece of equ...

Thanks Lloyd,
I'd be interested to hear about the requirements for phpDivingLog v3 and may look into changing my hosting if required.

Re: PHP Problems
Thanks for the advice guys. Lloyd, I'm not sure which version I am using to be honest. I think I may have updated to v2.2 beta 8 as I have those files archived along with older versions in case I needed to roll back at any time. I've been pretty slack with my version control of the actual files on m...

PHP Problems
Hi, I seem to be having problems with the php diving log extension. If I export the log and then try to import the mysql file it crashes and reports the following error: #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax ...

Re: phpDivinglog 2.2 development
I had the same though a couple of weeks ago. We really should find some skilled coders and maintain this project. I'm on board :) I'd love to help but my PHP knowledge is non-existent really. I can just get myself around in HTML and a little CSS but the mysteries of PHP and MySQL are frankly beyond...

Re: phpDivinglog 2.2 development
It's a real shame that development on this seems to have stopped. it's a great tool and addon to diving log but there were a few more features i'd love to see fixed and added.

Further Development of Beta Features
Hi Sven, Good work on all of the new features lately. Can I ask whether the following items can be considered for future development of these features? 1) Inactive kit - Once set as inactive, can this kit no longer be visible as a choice within the logbook? That way it cuts down the extensive listin...

I was using 5.0.2 but have now upgraded to 5.0.3 and it has worked. Sorry for the potential false alarm.
