More import issues...
Beginning with either the RC or final of 5.0, divinglog seems to have started having trouble importing logs made by the MultiDeco software for the liquivision, at least when set to "Imperial" import. The problem is that some calculated values -- Max Depth, Average Depth, Temperature -- are...

Issues with RC1
1. It de-links locations and buddies. Locations that were linked (they showed the chain icon) are now unlinked (they show the pencil icon). This is true of all three location fields and the buddy field. 2. Error when changing ribbons. If you don't have separate "Profile" and "Comments...

Re: Liquivision import
Yeah, but then you run into the problem that sometimes the importer likes to reverse the order of the dives... In all seriousness, since the log files have dates and times, and so do the dive entries in the logbook, it really should be smart enough to match them up on its own... Anyway I replaced a ...

Re: Liquivision import
The ascent rate calc is definitely improved, but I think it may be a bit too coarse now. (I'm very happy that it no longer think I hit 90'/min ascent rates while holding a deco stop!) I think you might want to try half way between the current and former calculation method. You might also see if ther...

Liquivision import
Earlier in the forum you said that you were going to fix some of the bugs in the liquivision importer (ascent rate, not importing deco information, incorrect gas information, etc.) in connection with the 5.0 upgrade. Is that still your plan? One additional bug is that if you import in imperial, the ...

Re: iPhone entry & dive computer data merging
Thanks for the response and for your attention. I will try the new update and instruction after this weekend's dives. I'm pretty sure that the shift-select protocol you suggest is what I've been doing, but I will try it again. Regarding the last two points, I guess we have different views on what a ...

Re: iPhone entry & dive computer data merging
It explains some, except for (2) and (3). The temperature fields are being left blank, but not updated. And the .csv files are being selected in the right order (there is a naming convention actually - by the number of the dive), but the dives show up in the "which dives to import" list ou...

Re: iPhone entry & dive computer data merging
I'm having a slew of problems with this. I'm not sure how many are syncing bugs as opposed to bugs in the importer. I'm importing data from a Liquivision X1 (V-Planner Live). Here's a list: 1. The dive time is not being updated. 2. Neither the surface nor submerged temperatures are being updated. 3....
