Logbook Report - CoolBluePhotoA5

I'm sharing my new logbook report, taking some inspiration from a number of the user contributed reports here (https://www.divinglog.de/english/download/reports.php?Site=Desktop). If you do download and try it out, I'd be happy to hear feedback and take any suggestions. [EDIT: Please make sure you u...

Report Designer

I noticed that DivingLog 6 uses List & Label v15. Is there any intention to update this to use the current release v22? I'm possibly getting a little carried away with revising my logbook, and it would be very handy to make use of the scripting feature that was introduced in v21 of L&L.

Re: ownCloud sync

Hi You can use the ownCloud app on your phone to upload and download the *.sql file from the "Diving Log" folder on the phone to the "Divelog" in your ownCloud. In the desktop version you can use the build-in ownCloud sync, which interacts with your local ownCloud folder. I gues...

ownCloud sync

Is there anything in the pipeline to integrate ownCloud (or Next Cloud) sync into the Android version? I use OwnCloud for a few other apps, and it works really well. It's great to be able to upload/download to owncloud from the desktop version, but would be great to be able to export from desktop an...

Android sync broken

I've just tried for the first time to sync my Diving Log 5.0.3 to Android. Everything appears to work without errors (And the message "Logbook successfully transferred", but the dives.txt file that is generated is 0 bytes long. Diving Log also holds onto the file handle, so that I can't de...

Re: Please vote for type of new visibility fields

I vote for indexed text fields. For me, numeric fields (eg, visibility in metres) is too specific. I'll very seldom say visibility is 7m. It's usually somthing like "0-5m", "5-10m", "10-15m", "15-20m". Good/Average/Bad doesn't give enough variety, and can be v...

Re: New development blog

Sven,
I've been following your development blog with great interest since purchasing DL4.0. It looks like you're really stepping it up and making some great improvements to the user-friendliness and flexibility of DivingLog. I can't wait until it ready for the rest of us!

Re: SAC Rate

Are there any plans to enhance SAC calculations to support multiple cylinders? Would be nice to see start and end pressures, ave depth, gas mix, time spent, and SAC for each cylinder when carrying stages. A multiple gas air-integrated computer could tell all the information, but since I don't own on...

Re: Report designer and transparent images

On a slightly related topic, is it possible to get the photo descriptions into the report designer? There's the 5 photo fields, but nothing obviously to refer to the photo descriptions.

Re: Report designer and transparent images

Oh well, thanks for looking into it for me. I suppose that's the price you have to pay for using a third party product - not always being able to do exactly what you want. But certainly the power of the reporting engine add a lot to DivingLog. Except transparent images :)

Report designer and transparent images

Is it possible to get the report designer to support transparent images? I'm trying to use the first image attached to a log entry as the background for the logbook page. But instead of having to photoshop the image to make it lighter so that I can read the log book pages. What I am trying to do is ...
