Re: Shearwater Tern TX support

Thank you very much for the quick action!
Download works without a problem, I can see the 2 dives I made with Tern with all the details.

For reference I've attached the errorlog of the download, not sure if you need it.

Shearwater Tern TX support

hi Sven

Last week I purchased a Shearwater Tern TX. It's quite a new model, but it seems to behave like the other shearwater models. Is it possible to add support for it into the diving log downloader?
What would you need from me to be able to add it?

thanks

Re: wishlist XML export

I downloaded the last beta on a new PC, but that one has a bug it seems.
The XML export writing window finishes, but no XML file is actually written.
So had to put back the previous version without the extra features.
Can you check ?

Re: wishlist XML export

Great!
I only noticed your reply now. The extra profiles and tank info show up fine in the XML export.

For me the common name of marine life is enough. Can be like the UsedEquip tag, a simple comma separated list in 1 tag.
That would make the xml export perfect for my use case.

wishlist XML export

After working with divinglog for a few months, I really like the flexibility. Importing any of my divecomputers is super easy. I'm using the XML export to feed data into my own website: www.ultimatedivelog.com For the finishing touch this would be the wishlist for the XML file: * Adding the marineli...

Marine Life in XML export

Is it possible to add the Marine life entered into the XML export of a dive? Like it's already been done with used equipment? And the same for user defined fields? Not super urgent but would be a nice-to-have feature. So I can enter all details into divinglog and upload the xml to my own website wit...

Re: DC_STATUS_DATAFORMAT with i470TC

It works!

I have installed your latest version, restarted my laptop.
Then removed the i470tc as a bluetooth device and added it again.

After those steps the import via bluetooth worked fine and I can see all the data of my 2 dives sofar with this computer.

Thanks again for the quick fix

Re: DC_STATUS_DATAFORMAT with i470TC

I also tried downloading dives out of my shearwater Petrel 2 and Perdix Ai
Both are bluetooth too, and both won't connect.
They show up as paired bluetooth devices, but no download happens.

IN the shearwater software I can download the dives without a problem.
Hope this helps in finding the issue

Re: DC_STATUS_DATAFORMAT with i470TC

Thanks for picking this up so quickly! I've installed the patch and restarted my laptop. It's now throwing DC_STATUS_TIMEOUT Here's my log: 00:00:000 INFO: 2020-11-03 08:26:51 00:00:000 INFO: Libdivecomputer version: 0.7.0-devel (7f553c127654c6fc3a4b63c10e5b97c5fb299421) 00:00:001 INFO: Diving Log v...

I tried the Android app, that one can import both dives that are on my watch.
The PC version still throws the same error

Re: Surface water temperature

No worries
I'll put the surface temperature in a user field.

With some SQL magic in MS Access I think I can transfer most of the data out of the d9.mdb from Suunto into the Diving log database

Re: DC_STATUS_DATAFORMAT with i470TC

Import from divecomputer worked fine using subsurface 4.9.7
Is this an libdivecomputer version issue then?

DC_STATUS_DATAFORMAT with i470TC

I'm trying to download the first 2 dives out of my Aqualung i470TC Downloading dives works on my phone with the Diverlog+ app, but that is too limited in fucntionality. The divecomputer is paired to my laptop, and Divinglog sees the right device to start a Bluetooth connection. But then it fails wit...

Surface water temperature

I dive mostly in fresh waters, that have a distinct bottom and surfave temperature for half of the year. After losing my Suunto D6 last week, I've switced to an Aqualung i470TC computer. All my dives are stored in Suunto Dive Manager 3. So looking around now if I will use the Aqualung Diverlog softw...
