Re: Database problems with DL v6

I was reading in the forum and found another user (which I also think is Norwegian from the look of the error message). I downloaded the patch that was linked in the posts and it seems to have fixed the problem. :)

I will test a bit further.

I use the "old" Suunto Downloader v2.9.7.1. I never got the .NET version to work. "SuntoXML Error: -1" is the errormessage I get.

It is also impossible to merge two dives in the order I want. No matter what I do, the last dive becomes the first of two dives.

Suunto-imported dives in reverse order

Hi,

When using the Suunto-importer the dives are stored in reverse order.

Code: Select all

Imported dive 18 as number 202
Importerte dykk 17 som nummer 203
Importerte dykk 16 som nummer 204
Importerte dykk 15 som nummer 205
Best regards
Jon

It's OK, Sven.

Opened up the file in MS Access and made a backup and now everything works like a charm. :)

Thank you.

Divesite/Wreck and depth

I have been adding a couple of wrecks as divesites and some wrecks are situated from e.g. 25 m to 50 m. If I write anything other than numbers in the depth-field, it get erased when saving. Is this to be fixed? If it is a bug, that is...

That could be. I was using a busted Custom Idea USB Interface that I had to hold in place on the computer. Easy to loose connection. Anyway, I have ordered a new Suunto interface now. :)

Okay. Thank you for figuring it out. :)
Is this one of the things that just happens without any explaination?

James, I can send you the XML if you still want it.

I tried it with 2.2.1.22. Have installed 2.2.1.29 now and I still get the same errormessage (when importing the xml file). Have e-mailed the xml to Sven now. Hope he figures out whats wrong...

And maybe I should go get a new interface.. ;)
