Re: DiveBoard - Transfer of Location when uploading
Looks like negative longitudes are fixed last upload I did. Country linking via code is not there...talking with Sven about possibilities.

Re: DiveBoard - Transfer of Location when uploading
Sven, I wonder if there is a problem with west longitude (negative values), because the latitude from my logbook is sent correctly, but the longitude (all of them being west) are not (show up as zero). I will set up Fiddler and look at the API and the data being sent next time I upload to check...
Re: SAC field
I believe the dive needs a profile (to calculate average depth). SAC rates are based on the amount of air consumed at what average depth over what length of time. You *may* be able to enter an average depth, but I'm not sure if the SAC will then be calculated, but unless your dive computer is giving...

Re: DiveBoard - Transfer of Location when uploading
The other thing I noticed was that the country (at least for Canada) was not being linked properly. I don't know if their API has the ability to match country name (or if that's possible to collect the countries and match them as part of the format for upload).

Diving Log Touch SAC values all zero in statistics
Sven, Love Diving Log Touch, nice to be able to carry around a beautiful copy of my logbook on my surface. I've actually entered all 70 or so certification cards just to see them in the product. There is one issue I've noticed, however, the SAC rates in the statistics panel are all zero (max. SAC, m...

Re: Sync Iphone to PC = Bluescreen
Stop code D1 is almost always a faulty driver: Stop 0x000000D1 or DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL The Stop 0xD1 messages indicates that the system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process IRQL that was too high. Drivers that have used improper addresses typically cause this error. Po...

Re: sending data to buddies
Currently the Facebook profile uploader is broken (changed API on Facebook). I am swamped but will try to get this updated in the next week or two.

VooDoo Gas mobile app
(thanks to Diving Log for allowing me to post here) The most important aspect of safely diving with Enriched Air Nitrox is being trained properly and knowing the depth limits of the Nitrox mix. Another important aspect is finding the "best" mix for a given depth. Ignoring these factors can...

Re: values changing: linked values to free-form values after
I've had this happen too when entering new values. Here's the voodoo ritual I use to get the link to work: 1. enter the new value as a linked value 2. save the dive and switch to another dive and switch back 3. at this point, the linked value is a pencil (free-edit) 4. in the drop-down find the link...
Re: BB10
Sven, I've already ported the VooDoo Gas app to BlackBerry and love the C++/Qt/Cascades system...one of the most intuitive GUI systems I've used (and I already have a Z10 phone). I might be interested in working on this, but can't spend full time on it. One thing that could help is if you wanted to ...

Re: Windows 8 Diving Log Metro Bugs
The sync is much better, very cool. There should be something in the manage logbook of Diving Log Touch which highlights this ability, I did not know how to open my older logbook at all until I figured out I need to export first. This sync ability is great, but hidden first time you need to do it. I...

Windows 8 Diving Log Metro Bugs
No easy way to import existing DB. Had to export to Skydrive and import, seemed like something that could be a single step. Statistics page, all the SAC values are missing for me. Dates in the product when the date is not set show up as 1/1/1...perhaps some other placeholder (--/--/--) when not set?...

Re: Curious question - tank sizes off by tiny margin when im
This is likely because internally (DB), Diving Log stores values in metric units and only the UI is metric/imperial.
