Sorry, but no, I haven't had a chance to do that as yet. My phpDivingLog development environment has some issues and I've been too busy with other things to sort it out.

Best regards, Lloyd Borrett.

Re: Divelogs Syncronisation error

The server was running. I could login online via a browser. It was Diving Log that seemed it couldn't login.

YourDiveBook sync error

G'day Sven, I got the following error message when try to upload to YourDiveBook. See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Length cannot be less than z...

Divelogs Syncronisation error

G'day Sven,

Trying to do a web sync with divelogs and it's failing.

The tab lets me sign in and view my profile. But when I try to upload to the online logbook I get a "login failed" message.

Also, the link to https://en.divelogs.de doesn't work.

Best regards, Lloyd Borrett.

MySQL Export and RTF text

G'day Sven, Diving Log enables us to export into MySQL format. One of the options on that export is we can choose to get comments in RTF or Text format. For those of us then using the MySQL data in phpDivingLog where it ends up as HTML, this still isn't an ideal solution. There just isn't any good o...

Re: phpDivingLog

G'day, I've just put my phpDivingLog 3 implementation live at http://www.borrett.id.au/divelog/ . Unfortunately, this implementation is not fully up-to-date with the GitHub repository version. Plus I found some issues I had to resolve along the way. In due course I'll try and merge my version with t...

Re: phpDivingLog

G'day,

I managed to turn off the warnings using a custom php.ini file and now the graphs are showing up okay.

Best regards, Lloyd Borrett.

Re: phpDivingLog

G'day, I've just updated to the latest version from the GitHub repository. On my development setup it seems to be working fine. But on my hosted live environment I'm having all sorts of issues. See http://www.borrett.id.au/divelog3/index.php First there are those error messages. Then the dive profil...

Re: Suunto HelO2 Problems

G'day Sven, Okay, so far I've just stuck with importing via SDM 3. (I took a look at SDM 4 and went yuk!) But the gas switch info doesn't seem to be making it across when using SDM 3, which is a shame. I can't get the direct download option to work at all with my Suunto HelO2. The process always gen...

Re: Suunto HelO2 Problems

G'day Sven, I've been very naughty and haven't downloaded my dives for a while. I've just come back from a dive expedition to Bikini Atoll, so I now want to get everything up-to-date. Can I now get the gas switch details from my Suunto HelO2 into Diving Log? If so, how? As best as I can recall, gett...

Re: PHP Problems

G'day Ian, Progress on phpDivingLog v3 has slowed up over the last few months. My focus has been on changing jobs, settling in at the new job, getting my dive boat up-to-speed for the summer, taking on the role of editor of my dive club's magazine, plus a heap of family issues. Hopefully in the new ...

Re: PHP Problems

G'day Ian, Which version of phpDivingLog are you using? As Sven says, there is a workaround where you have the option in DivingLog to create a MySQL output file without the DROP TABLE commands in it. Then using phpMyAdmin, manually drop the tables before importing the new MySQL dump file. If possibl...

Re: Vote about your current smartphone

G'day, Back in November 2011, I finally upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy Note Android based smartphone. The large 5.3" screen is good for my aging eyes. I must admit the Android Dive Log software is a bit of a disappointent. Seems it's a dive log application that has been adapted to also support th...

Re: Cannot Sync to Samsung Galaxy S2

G'day, I'm having similar problems with my new Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 running Android 2.3.5. I've managed to export the data from Diving Log 5.0.5 under Windows 7 to a directory on the PC drive producing a 396 KB TXT file. I've then copied the *.txt file from the PC into the GT-7000/Phone/dive...

Re: Find dive sites within specified distance of each other

(Lloyd, what's your pronostic for NZ-Australia ? ;-) ) I've only ever lived in states of Australia where Australian Rules Football is the totally dominant of our four football codes here -- AFL, soccer, rugby league and rugby. And I don't even follow the AFL. So when it comes to rugby, which would ...
