Syncing between Windows and Windows Phone

Post by munitor »

I am using the trial versions of software on both Windows 10 and Windows Phone 8.1, and I can't get a log created on Windows to sync to Windows Phone. The two pieces of software seem to generate different file types (I uploaded the sample dive from Windows Phone to my OneDrive as a test). Does the synchronization work between Win and WP? What do I need to do?

You have to use the OnDrive sync function from the "Web" toolbar menu in the main window for syncing. If you want to use local syncing via USB, you have to use the "SQLite" export to export to Windows Phone and the "Diving Log" import to import from Windows Phone. But syncing via Dropbox or OneDrive is the easiest one

Okay, that got it. But the downloader doesn't pick up all the information about the dives, such as deco, deco violations, ascent violations, etc. Most of my dives involve deco and I want to see that in the log. Is there something to configure to get that additional information?
