You ever thought about Divenav

Post by LeeU »

The folks at Dive Nav or Dive computer training have some killer apps that you may be able to get to work with DL 5.0, they even have one that downloads a dive computer by bluetooth to phone, I would kill to be able to save my dives from my Oceanic VT 4.1 to my phone by USB then back up to my DL 5.0 on my laptop.

Yes I have in the past, they don't seem to be interested in a cooperation. Right now you cannot connect a dive computer to a phone except via bluetooth (which only a few computers support), because the phone USB port is a slave port and not a USB host like on PC's. The closest you can get is a Windows 8 tablet with Diving Log Touch and Diving Log 5.0 on it.
