DC_Status_Protocol error

Post by silversinker » Thu May 25, 2017 06:12

Hi,

I have been using this app with my Dive Systems iDive DAN computer with no issues for several years. Now, all of a sudden I am getting the error DC_STATUS_PROTOCOL, dump file below. As far as I am aware there have been no changes, I have even tried a different cable, but the error remains. It connects via COM6.

Hi

Have you installed a firmware update recently to the dive computer? The DiveSystem iX3m received a firware update 4.0 which is causing a similar error. Does the download work with the DiveLogger software?

Kind regards,
Sven

This error code indicates that there are no dives available. If that's indeed correct, then you won't be able to download dives with the diverlogger application either.

I have not upgraded the firmware for several months & all was OK after last update

There are 7 dives recorded, so I don't think that is the issue

Have you tried to download your dives with Ratio's Diverlogger application? How many dives does it download?
