I ve been trying to sync my iphone with the desktop without success - itunes is installed in the computer, and I select "enable sync" on the iphone,but it seems my computer doesn't recognize my mobile. Is there anything else I must do before syncing the devices, or do you have any clue of what might be happening?

It is very likely that your firewall is blocking Diving Log. Especially Avast is causing problems. Either deactivate your security software during syncing or add Diving Log to the whitelist. If that does not work, try to restart your router by unplugging it from the power for one minute. Let me know if it still does not work.
