Re: Aqualugn i450t incorrect sample interval in profile view

Thanks for testing, I'm glad to hear it worked this time! I don't think it is related to the overall dive length. Diving Log tries to figure out the sampling rate with the first two samples. If there is for some reason (e.g. some kind of warning or special event) a shorter interval, it get's set inc...

Re: Export to XLS or CSV, gasses not exported and no Buddy names

Ahh thanks, that makes sense! Yes, the Excel export needs Excel to be installed. I should have used a different CSV separator by default, I haven't thought about the comma in numbers and buddies. I'll change that in the next update. In the meantime, just click on "Settings" in the CSV export and cha...

Re: Synching desktop and latop, file locations

Hi David You can move your logbook file to any location on your PC and open it with Diving Log (File > Open Logbook). The logbook file is stored by default in the Windows document folder, sub folder "Diving Log" and named by default "Logbook.mdb". You can see the logbook filename in the lower left c...

Re: Export to XLS or CSV, gasses not exported and no Buddy names

Thank you for the files. You are exporting to CSV, not Excel, that's an important difference. CSV is a comma separated text file. Buddies are separated by comma, that's why it does not work as expected. You can change the separator in the export settings. Or you can simply export directly to Excel f...

Re: Export to XLS or CSV, gasses not exported and no Buddy names

Can you have a look into the logbook table window to see if the buddy name is contained in the buddy column for these dives? Please send me also your logbook file and which dives are affected. I've just tested it and the buddy name is exported for me when the "Buddy" column is selected. Only the Bud...

Re: Automatic Export to Android on Exit

Hi Marco

Thank you, I think this can be added as an option. I'll do some test to see how this works.

Kind regards,
Sven

For this problem, you might have to contact the Dive Mate developer. I don't think I can help you for this problem.

Re: Automatic Export to Android on Exit

Hi Thank you for the suggestion! I'll see if this can be implemented. But I'm not sure if this make sense, because it will slow down the application shutdown every time when you close the app, even if you have not changed anything. It might also overwrite your Android database and changes on Android...

Re: Synchronization problems

Are you sure you have the same problem? Do you also get the message "Pleace install Itunes or Bonjour for windows"? If not, it is a different problem. If you get the same message, please see my answer to the first post. If you don't get this message, it is likely a firewall problem. Please see here ...

Re: Air consumption

Hi Matt Yes, all tank related fields in the logbook window are about the first (main) tank (start-, end and working pressure, consumption, etc). I'm not sure if it makes sense to combine the consumption of all tanks, because every tank can have a different size. You can view the individual consumpti...

Re: Export to XLS or CSV, gasses not exported and no Buddy names

Hi

Yes, you can only export the dive table (one dive per row), so yes, the additional tanks are missing in the Excel export right now. Regarding Buddy: I guess you've exported the column BuddyID, not Buddy? When you select "Buddy", it should contain the name.

Kind regards,
Sven
