Re: GPS site export

Hi Sven,

as always excellent support.

I knew it would be there.

As far as other formats for GPS GPSbabel will translate from KML just fine.

GPS site export

Hi Sven,

is there any way to export the dive site GPS points (preferably with names) as I can't seem to find it.

All I'm seeing is the ability to import GPS locations.

Equipment statistics view issue

I have a couple of items (BCD) with the same name due to warranty replacement. One of the items is inactive and the other active. I can look at the items in the Equipment view and they show up as two separate items. If I look at the item in Statistics - Dive Equipment they show as one item with the ...

Multiple computer downloads.

Since you have lots of time to add new features :P I thought I'd check about the possibility of adding a feature to select specific data sets from different computers for a single dive. To clarify, I'm now diving CCR and have both a shearwater predator (controller) and OSTC 2N (backup) on all dives....

Re: Pro Plu 2.1 Downloader - Last 5 Dives Only

According to Oceanic **Oceanic Personal Dive Computers have user selectable Sampling Rates that determine when data is sampled and stored for subsequent download to associated PC interface programs. More frequent sampling provides more data per dive yet results in storage of fewer dives for download...

Re: Merge dive profiles on import?

I realised after posting that I could simply specify the dives to import from shearwater desktop and use this to update the existing dives. After this I added the second halves of the dives and merged them to the end of the correct dives. I had thought it would need the dives to be sequential but re...

Merge dive profiles on import?

Is there any way of merging dive profiles during import? I have just completed my CCR course and on three of the dives we had to perform some surface skills partway through the dive. The shearwater splits these into two dives. As I use my iPad to log the dives and then import dive profiles this will...

Re: Set coordinates by selecting location on a map

Nope. Vista.

Issue seems to be identical to the description in the link provided.

I'll check it out once you make the changes.

Re: Set coordinates by selecting location on a map

Just had a play with the various map options and I get a generic GDI+ error that causes the maps to crash on any satellite or hybrid satellite map view or any Bing map option (including BingMap).

All other map views work.

Maybe DivingLog understands that I dislike Microsoft?

Re: Set coordinates by selecting location on a map

If you use the google earth tool viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1560 as per Rene. This will save the lat/longitudes without needing to copy them.

Re: Suggestions handy for cave diving

Hi Sven, I think what is happening in some cases is that the same size tank is used in different markets and seen as a different tank. Some tanks will be stamped with both an imperial size and the water content, meaning you can choose it as either imperial sizing or metric. I still think the best so...

Re: Suggestions handy for cave diving

Any chance of adding 11.1l and 12.2l for those of us that live in the real world  and use metric sizes? Plus 207 and 232 bar as options for tank pressure? As you know, here in Germany we have the metric system, but I never heard of a 11.1 and 12.2 liter tank. Where do you have those tanks?...

Re: Sorting dives

It's already implemented. On the home tab there is a filter option (looks like a funnel) in the top left. Choose country contains Bahamas for instance and it will show all dives where you have set the country as Bahamas. You can also choose the locations tab on the left in the home list and it will ...
