Getting started
When you start Diving Log for the first time, a new empty logbook is created automatically. You can create additional logbook files for other family members with the menu “File > New Logbook” command. Diving Log is using metric units by default, to switch to imperial units click the menu “File > Preferences”:

If you want to import dive data from your dive computer or other software, you can add the required import functions to the sidebar into the “My Imports” section. Additionally you can add often used export formats into the “My Exports” section:

If you want, you can also customize the look & feel of Diving Log under the “Appearance” tab or add widgets to the main window.
Now you can start adding dives to your logbook by either importing existing dives from other software using one of the import functions (you find all available imports in the menu “File > Import”) or by downloading your dive computer. Click the “Downloader” link in the sidebar to download your dive computer:

To enter new dives manually or to edit dives, click the “Logbook” toolbar button:
